IEEE BigComp 2025 Workshop Proposal

1. Title
Big Data Service Society 2025 International Academic Seminar

2. Motivation and appropriateness to IEEE BigComp
In today's data-driven era, the exponential growth of information has positioned Big Data as a crucial element in both academia and industry, requiring new technologies and approaches beyond traditional methods. Simultaneously, AI technology has emerged as an innovative solution that enhances data analysis and decision-making, offering even greater potential when combined with Big Data. Our workshop aims to share and discuss the latest research findings and innovative ideas in Big Data applications and AI technology, fostering collaboration between theoretical researchers and industry practitioners to address practical challenges and explore real-life case studies. This initiative aligns perfectly with IEEE BigComp's focus on Big Data and smart computing, and by delving into current trends and practical applications, we strive to provide participants with valuable insights and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of these fields

3. Theme and purpose
This workshop aims to create opportunities for discussing state-of-the-art research and sharing ongoing work in the fields of Big Data and AI technologies. We hope that this event will foster collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals involved in Big Data applications and services. Key challenges to be addressed include data security and privacy, scalability of data processing systems, real-time analytics, and the integration of AI with Big Data infrastructures. We aim to explore solutions to these challenges and share practical insights on applying Big Data and AI technologies to real-world applications.
